Hales Corners Challenge V
International Master Emory Tate and FM Alexander Stamnov tied for first with 4-0 in the 4 round G/60 event. Mr. Tate just returned from the Reykjavik International. He was on his way to a GM norm there but only scored 0-3=1 in the last 4 rounds.
I went 1-1=1. I had the following postion against a 1905 player but could not find the move Nf5+ in bad time trouble. I still went into the endgame a piece up, but lost.

(*at this stage I am down to a few seconds and stopped keeping score, and ended up making a few horrible moves)
