The ritziest chess club in the world?

I got the opportunity to stop by the Saint Louis Chess Club a couple of weeks ago.

I had heard a lot about this club and had seen several pictures, but one has to be there to really appreciate it.

The club will host the 2009 US Championship

    Wonderfull location. But i espected woden boards and pieces on the tables.

    I am not sure what the ratio is but they do have wooden boards (some that transmit moves automatically)

    I added another picture with some of the wooden boards.

    great..i am member of this club! in the st.louis metro championship they had few games on the automatic relaying DGT boards.
