LEPers II Champion

I am proud to announce that I am the LEPers II Champion. I am eagerly awaiting invitations to prestigious chess events as a result of this :)

The LEPers II tournament was an online (FICS) tournament for Bloggers conducted by Donnie (Liquid Egg Product). That's where the name LEPers came from. The time control was 15 min. with a 30 sec. increment.

Click here for more information on who took part.

Click here for the final game against Polly(Castling Queenside).

Thanks Donnie for running the event. I can't wait for LEPers III.

Polly's account of the final is here.

  1. The invites should be pouring in any day now. :-) I'll accept any that you have to turn down due to scheduling conflicts.

Very good game, and congratulations again.

I eagerly await the chance to exact revenge in LEPers III

  2. What kind of games are these? Like correspondence chess? Is this like a move per day? Just wondering. Thanks.

  9. Congratulations! Well done.
Helas i cant open the googlepages account of the game.

I am pondering to join the next tournament but since i live in Europe and most of you guys and girls in America scheduling the game can be a pain in the ass. So i am in doubt joining.

  10. What happens when you click on the game link? It should bring up a pgn file, and should automatically open it if you have chessbase/chessbase light.

If not Polly has the game on her blog.

You should join. It was a lot of fun.
