This looks like a great tournament already with all these strong players.
I don't recall ever playing in an event with this many players over 2000. This should be fun!
Yes, Lots of high rated players, especially for a blitz tournament.
It is not a blitz tournament. It is GAME/60 or GAME 55 with a 5 second delay.
Close enough
Nice touch adding the HCC History. Thanks.
Coons drew with Burgess in Rd 1, so "blitz" worked out after all !
nice coverage even though you're not playing?
Another excellent event by the southwest chess club. This is one of my favourite events and I love playing in itThanks guys for an excellent eventJon Burgess
can you tell us something about the draw against the 1800?How did the last round game end so quickly. It looked your opponent was not losing?
The 1800 player played very wellThe last round game I had my opponent was totally lostJon Burgess
We had a nice tournament, and the tournament is now rated. Thanks to all who attended.
Great tournament thanks!
Nice to see you there, Ivan! I apologize for not being real talkative, but I was ill and didn't want to spread any flu to you.
It was nice to see you too. Wishing you lots of success in your next tournament. Unless you play me:)iw
